Story
Born from a Living Room in Chaos
If you’ve ever seen a mum of three frantically flipping couch cushions five minutes before movie night starts, you’ve seen the moment TrooFind™ was born.
Our home is busy, loud, and full of laughter—but it was also constantly missing TV remotes. With three TVs in the house, it felt like the remotes had a secret mission to disappear the second we sat down. Between toy baskets, the dark abyss of the sofa, and my own slightly scatter-brained habit of leaving things in the most random places (yes—the fridge, once), the struggle was real.
After one too many searches, I knew there had to be a better way.
A "Tech-Mum" Search for a Safer Fix
Working in tech, my instinct was to find a solution online. But everything I found felt like a compromise. Most trackers were just little plastic tags you had to stick, tape, or hang onto the remote.
That didn’t feel right for our home.
I didn’t want something that could easily pop off or be fiddled with by curious little hands. I also didn't want a bulky tag ruining the feel of a sleek remote. I wanted something:

Is the tracker secure inside the sleeve?
Yes — the tracking module sits inside an internal pocket within the sleeve and is held in place once the remote is inserted.This keeps the exterior smooth and helps prevent the module from shifting during normal use.
Can I remove the tracker or replace the battery?
Yes. The tracking module is removable, allowing battery replacement or transfer if needed. Follow the instructions included with your tracker for battery handling and replacement.
